I think I am just plain nuts. Before I proceeded to rip out a few days' worth of work, I measured one more time. On a flat surface. Making sure it wasn't stretched. Funny how those two things really make a difference.
All is good. Freak out session is over. I calculated that I'll be able to do one more sunflower repeat.

sounds like you are making good progress. i sure like the sweater (as of last picture). you are doing a great job for a first fair isle.
