thanks for the mention! i will edit my post with the latest baby hats. For the blue boy hats, i didn't use a pattern. The lace hats are a variation on the lacecap hat from knitty archives. i have made a lot of them. they look better on a head than in my picture.
glad you are feeling better. how did your daughter do with the loss of the kitty?

She's fortunately at the age where it's kind of out of sight/out of mind... And it helps that Spencer (our other cat) has adopted her as his new buddy -- sleeping on her bed, following her around, etc.
